Danish Island Weddings was recommended to me by my colleague / boss who also happened to get married in Æro. It is a very exciting experience to have gotten married on this beautiful island and with the wonderful support of these lovely ladies who run DIW. They are very accommodating and very flexible and provide all the options a couple needs for their wedding. I highly recommend this company and will definitely be happy to come back to the island.

HAPPIEST day of our life - DIW made it easy for us.

We celebrated our wedding at the Old Merchant’s Court in Ærø in early summer 2021. The team of Danish Island weddings were guiding us right from the beginning from handling bureaucratic things till the planning of our entire wedding to the very last moment. It was very easy to communicate with them and they gave attention to every detail we wished for.
Given the Covid-19 situation, they were very flexible and put in all the efforts to make last minute adjustments. It was nice we could enjoy the wedding without having to worry of every small details. Louise is a lovely person and together with her team she made our wedding day unforgettable.

BEST. DAY. EVER. We were looking to get married in Denmark to not having to hussle with the paperwork (being a French-German couple living in Switzerland makes administration a real pain!) - so all we expected was a simple, easy wedding. What we got was exceeding our expectations by far - a DREAM come true, really. The team of Danish Island Weddings (such lovely people!) planned and organized the perfect day for us with the most romantic BEACH WEDDING you can image. Thank you so much, Louise, Yuki and John! Every detail was just so thoughtful and tailored to what we like and we felt like we were in the right hands from the very beginning.We've just had our 1 year anniversary and we couldn't be happier to have made those wonderful memories on Aero.

Everything about our experience with the team at Danish Island weddings was excellent! We had postponed our wedding 3 times due to Corona and then we came across Louise and the team and they made our 'back up plan' better than we could ever have hoped for. Nothing was too much trouble - everything was easy. The Beach hut was the perfect location for us and the set up, the ceremony, the cake, the champagne, the lunch, the flowers, Neli the photographer - everything was amazing! We would recommend anyone getting married to go to Aero! Thanks to the whole team.

Thank you very much to Danish Island Weddings and John and his team. From the very first contact by email we were treated in a very friendly and professional manner. All our inquiries were always answered immediately. We came from Dubai via Copenhagen and arrived late (07.30 p.m.) in Ærøskøbing. John personally came down to the ferry pier and collected us. He made us feel very welcome and special. He also booked a table for us that night at the Restaurant MUMM, which we only can recommend for its excellent food and cozy atmosphere.

We stayed at the suite above the Old Merchant Court and only had to come down the stairs to the wedding room. John has organized everything to the smallest details and so we could enjoy the day to the maximum.

We also can recommend Jens the photographer. John knows his address details.

All in all a wonderful organized wedding on a beautiful island, which we can recommend to anyone who seeks a wedding day out of the ordinary.

My husband and I were recently married on Ærøskøbing with this incredible family run business, and their energy of warmth and helpfulness assisted the entire process. This could not have possibly gone more smoothly due to their foresight, organization and thoroughness. Additionally, I had the salvation of Louise who made me a gorgeous crown of succulents and lavender at the last minute when the florist I went through did a poor job. I would source Louise and Danish island weddings for all your needs since the artistry and attention to detail is so impeccable. Although we were married far from our homes and without our family and friends present, the people involved in helping this day manifest were so genuine, warm, and welcoming that it truly made the occasion special. Danish island weddings takes care of everything and it makes what can be a stressful occasion so much more enjoyable. Thank you, thank you, thank you, our day was magically and we owe a lot of that to you!! All the best ❤️

We really loved getting married on Ærø at the lovely Voderup (nature wedding). Yuki, Louise, and all the team at danish island weddings made it so easy and relaxing! We did an elopement because we didn't want a big ceremony, but we still wanted to be somewhere memorable with some nice photos to share after. It was perfect, Yuki was amazing at organising everything and the flowers from Louise were so amazing! We had their recommended photographer Neli, and I had hair by Anne and make up by Mira, who were all lovely and made everything feel special and stress free. The island is absolutely gorgeous and we will definitely be back to visit. We loved exploring. Voderup is a dream and I would really recommend for a special place to stay. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the whole experience to anyone, there were no downsides for us. Thank you!!

We worked with Yuki - with her expertise and help from the rest of the team she made sure our wedding day was perfect. The entire team is incredibly kind and relaxed. This made our wedding day feel like a smooth ride, seamlessly moving from hair and makeup to ceremony to lunch, etc. Nothing felt rushed and everything came together perfectly. Danish Island weddings are surrounded by amazing professionals from hair and makeup services to photography. This close knit group makes your experience intimate and personal.
